Getting Started
From signup to a live hydrated page in one session.
1 · Run the onboarding wizard
/onboarding walks you through business identity, service inventory (paste-a-list supported), and territory radius — the cap comes from your plan. The address is auto-geocoded to HQ coordinates; existing businesses load their saved HQ automatically.
2 · Activate zones
From /campaigns/launch, anchor on the business HQ or search any ZIP / city / address. Run the radius scan, select zones, activate — draft locations compile under the campaign.
3 · Install the loader
/integration gives you one script tag — paste before </body> on every page that should hydrate. Live injection requires an active plan; free tier is preview-only.

WordPress Plugin
On WordPress? The free connector plugin replaces the manual script paste entirely — and adds publishing on top.
1 · Install & connect
Upload the plugin, then Settings → GeoMapEngine → Connect. It opens geomapengine.com — pick the business this site belongs to and you're done. No tokens to copy; the site receives a restricted token bound to that one business only.
2 · What activates automatically
The loader script injects itself on every page (toggleable), LocalBusiness schema + NAP sync from your dashboard — fed to Yoast/RankMath, never fighting them — and aggregateRating markup so Google can show your stars.
3 · Blocks everywhere you build
Rank Grid Map, NAP and Reviews work as Gutenberg blocks, Elementor widgets (when Elementor is active), and shortcodes — [geomapengine_grid], [geomapengine_nap], [geomapengine_reviews]. Reviews support limit and minimum-rating filters.
4 · Blog Publisher
Write or AI-generate posts in /blog, then publish now, save drafts, or schedule — the calendar shows WP and GBP entries side by side. Multi-site sends generate a unique localized variant per domain, featured image included. New WP posts can also cross-post to Google Business Profile automatically.
5 · Agency mode
Install on client sites without giving clients dashboard access — each site binds to exactly one business. Stealth mode hides the plugin from the Settings menu, white-label plans show "Powered by {your agency}" in front-end output, and /wordpress lists every site with live status and one-click revoke.

RankEngine SEO
The paid WordPress plugin — a full SEO suite plus local tools. Download and manage your license under /rankengine.
The flow — step by step
- 1. Download the zip from
/rankengine→ Manage, then Plugins → Add New → Upload in wp-admin. - 2. Activate — the setup wizard runs and collects the business basics (name, address, phone, services).
- 3. Paste your license key under RankEngine → License to unlock Pro tools, AI and updates.
- 4. Run Site Scan, then work the Dashboard score — every weak part links to the screen that fixes it.
Dashboard — the Visibility Score
One number for local SEO health: business profile, citations, service-area coverage, review activity, NAP consistency and local schema — weighted, trended over scans. Fill the profile first (it weighs most), then chase the weakest part.
Site Scan
Crawls your pages in seconds and lists issues by severity — each with a Fix link straight to the right screen. Adds an SEO column to the Posts list so you see per-page health at a glance.
The editor SEO panel
On any post or page: set the SEO title and description (live SERP preview), add up to 5 focus keywords, watch the content score update as you write, and pick a schema template — 11 types from FAQ to JobPosting. Works with Elementor content too.
Settings
Titles & Meta — templates per post type with variables, set once. Local SEO — business profile (paste a Google Maps link to autofill), service areas, and the service × city coverage matrix — gaps get a ✦ button that drafts a localized page. Social & Verification — default share image and site verification tags. Sitemap — already live at /sitemap_index.xml, submit once to Search Console.
Tools tab
Redirects — slug changes auto-suggest a redirect; 404 Monitor — missing URLs logged, one click to redirect; Bulk Editor — rewrite titles/descriptions across posts at once; llms.txt — a live AI-readable business summary, generated from your data; IndexNow — instant indexing pings on publish; robots.txt — edit in place; Image SEO — backfills missing alt text across the media library.
Pro tools
Citations — NAP consistency across directories, seeded for your business type. Review Center — review requests, QR cards and a site badge. Reports — health snapshots, print-to-PDF and email digests. All unlock with the license key.
Everyday shortcuts
⌘K anywhere in wp-admin jumps to any RankEngine screen. Import / Export migrates Yoast, Rank Math or AIOSEO settings in one pass. Updates arrive through the license server automatically while the key is active — frontend SEO keeps working forever even after expiry.
Rank Grid
See your real Google Maps rank — pin by pin — then fix the gaps. Four steps.
1 · Launch a scan
/grid → pick your business, type the keyword a customer would search (e.g. "plumber near me"), choose grid size and radius, press Run. Each pin is a real map check from that spot — scans run in the background and you get a notification when the grid finishes.
2 · Read the heatmap
Pins show your rank at that point — green in the Map Pack (1–3), amber close (4–10), red far or invisible. The metric strip summarizes it: SoLV = % of pins where you're top-3, average rank, and coverage = % of pins where you're found at all. Hover any pin to see the actual top-3 competitors at that spot.
3 · Read the Listing Health Report
Below the map, every scan produces a health score plus a findings list: whether your Google listing is connected, if the listing name and identity match your records, coverage dead zones, review gaps versus the competitors beating you, and a posting-activity check. Each finding is written in plain language with numbered steps to fix it — no technical knowledge needed.
4 · Fix the weak zones
The report links straight to the right tool: activate a landing hub in a weak zone (Geo Citation Engine), queue GBP posts to a quiet profile (GBP Publisher), or schedule a re-scan to watch progress. Fix → re-scan → repeat.

Geo Citation Engine
Campaigns own territory. Zones become landing hubs.
The flow — step by step
- 1. Open
/campaigns/launchand anchor on your business HQ — or search any city, ZIP, or address. - 2. Run the radius scan — it sweeps the gazetteer for every town and neighborhood inside your reach.
- 3. Tick the zones you want and press Activate — a draft landing hub is created per zone under your campaign.
- 4. AI writes localized copy for each hub (queued in the background on big batches).
- 5. With the loader installed, each hub hydrates its page on your domain — visitors in that area see their city, not a generic page.
Radius scan
Sweeps the geo_zones gazetteer with MySQL spatial distance math against your anchor POINT. Results list city name, type, and distance — select and activate to create draft locations.
Hub injection table
The campaign dashboard lists every active zone with controls to edit city/slug and SEO fields, purge a zone, or export the whole set to CSV.
Manual targeting
Prefer a specific city? Add it directly — the zone resolves through the same gazetteer and attaches to the campaign.

Content & Script Integration
Queued AI generation → live hydration on the client domain.
The flow — step by step
- 1. You activate zones — each becomes a location record tied to your campaign.
- 2. Generation jobs land on the queue — one per location, so big campaigns compile in the background.
- 3. AI writes the SEO title, meta, H1, body copy, and Q&A blocks — saved on the location.
- 4. You register the client domain under
/integrationand paste the script tag. - 5. A visitor loads a page → loader calls the hydrate API → domain + path are matched to a location → localized copy injects instantly (Redis-cached).
What the AI writes
Per zone: SEO title, meta description, H1 hero heading, localized body copy, and Q&A structured-data blocks. Jobs run async on the queue — large batches compile in the background.
The loader script
A single tag calls the hydrate API, which matches the visitor's domain + path to a location and injects the localized copy — Redis-cached for speed. Register each client domain under Script Integration.
Free tier behavior
Free accounts preview every generated block in-app. The live snippet stays locked until the workspace is on an active plan — enforcement happens at the hydrate endpoint, not just in the UI.

Publishing Suite
Calendar-first GBP publishing with AI assist.
The flow — step by step
- 1. Connect your Google Business Profile under
/gbp— once per location. - 2. Create a schedule: pick the prompt, voice, posting days, best-time presets, and delivery mode.
- 3. Each due slot becomes a post — AI pre-writes the copy (and art, if enabled) ahead of time.
- 4. Review mode: drafts wait in your approval queue until you approve. Auto mode: posts ship straight to Google.
- 5. At the scheduled time the publish job posts to your GBP — you get a bell alert + email on success or failure.
Content Calendar
/publishing — month/week views, click any future day to compose, drag queued posts between days to reschedule. Past days are locked read-only.
GBP Publisher schedules
/gbp — build schedules per business: prompt, tone, weekday cadence, best-time presets, start/end window, delivery mode. Drafts land in the approval queue; auto mode posts straight to GBP.
Request GBP access from the owner
/gbp → Overview — when the client owns the profile, open Request Access From the Owner: pick the business (or type one not onboarded yet), enter the owner's email, and review the pre-written email — your agency name, the business, your Google email and the exact Google steps (Business Profile settings → People and access → Add → Manager → Invite). Edit subject and message freely, preview it as the owner sees it, then send. Sent requests list under the card with one-click Resend, and flip to "Access granted" automatically once the location links.
Media Library
/files — multi-upload, live search, lightbox preview, in-use tracking, and a storage meter capped by your plan (MB/GB per tier). Cloud-drive sources are staged for a later release.
NAP re-sync
One click pulls live name / address / phone / Place ID from Google Business Profile and reconciles the local record.

Reports
Client-facing execution summaries per campaign.
The flow — step by step
- 1. Your campaign runs — zones activate, content hydrates, rank scans and GBP posts accumulate.
- 2. Open the campaign → Reports to generate a client-ready summary of what shipped.
- 3. Send it your way: PDF download, CSV of activated zones, a shareable link, or direct email delivery.
- 4. On white-label plans, the output carries your agency name — GeoMapEngine stays invisible to your client.
Exports
Each campaign report offers PDF download and CSV export of activated zones — plus a shareable link and email delivery for client handoff.
White label
Plans with white-label reporting enabled strip GME branding from client-facing output — your agency name carries the delivery.

Team & Billing
Plans define every limit — enforced at the API.
The flow — step by step
- 1. Pick a plan on Pricing (or redeem a custom-plan invite) — checkout runs through Stripe.
- 2. Your entitlements activate instantly: domains, cities, pins, radius, GBP posts, seats, storage.
- 3. Limits are enforced at the API — every tool checks the plan before it spends a quota.
- 4. Invite teammates under
/team— they share your businesses and campaigns, capped by seat count. - 5. Need one more limit? Buy an add-on instead of jumping a tier; coupons apply at checkout.
Plans & entitlements
Domains, cities per domain, pins per city, radius, GBP posts/month, seats, and media storage are all plan-defined. Public plans are self-serve via Stripe checkout; swaps and cancellations run through the billing portal.
Custom plans
Private tiers never appear on public pricing. They're provisioned via admin assignment or a one-time invite link that seats the signup on the custom plan and expires on redemption. Request one from Pricing.
Team seats
Invite members under /team — members inherit the account owner's plan and share all businesses and campaigns. Seat count is plan-capped.
Add-ons & coupons
Add-ons extend a single limit without a tier jump; coupons apply Stripe promotion codes at checkout.

Support
Stuck? The ticket system is built into the workspace.
The flow — step by step
- 1. Open
/support(or the ? menu top-right) and create a ticket — subject, category, message. - 2. Our team gets alerted instantly — in-app and by email.
- 3. Replies thread inside the ticket; each reply pings your bell and your inbox.
- 4. Status moves open → answered → closed. You can reply any time to reopen the conversation.
Submit a ticket
From the workspace, open /support (or the ? menu in the top bar) — subject, category, message. Replies thread in place.
Common fixes
- Script locked → workspace needs an active plan (Billing → upgrade)
- Zones empty → confirm the business HQ geocoded during onboarding
- GBP posts failing → reconnect the Google profile, then run NAP re-sync
- Storage full → free space in Media Library or upgrade the tier
Notifications & live badges
The bell in the top bar collects in-app alerts — finished rank scans, published or failed GBP posts, AI drafts waiting for review, and support replies. Important events also land in your email. Numbered badges on the sidebar (and mobile More sheet) show live counts — a pulsing badge on Rank Grid means a scan is running; click any alert to jump straight to the relevant page.
